In the photo, Paul and I are looking for the route ahead. Since visibility was poor, I am not really too sure where we were but we don't think we even got to the first tower. We did not get much further than this before heading back down.

Although it is noon in the photo, we decided that the route was going to take more time than we had due to the fresh soft snow and uncertain weather. We were floundering a bit postholing and falling into snow holes wishing for consolidated snow and some views.

We will be back. We had fun rock climbing in the Alabama Hills for a couple days.
