My first impression was that it looks fake... but apparently it's not. Wow. Awesome. It's interesting to me that the horizon has sunset-like colors... is that usual for solar eclipses?

Just yesterday I wanted to observe a total eclipse from a mountain on Yakushima in Southern Japan and ended up in the clouds. Total solar eclipses are even better than mountaineering. But the best is of course a combination of both.
