Halfway up Siphon Draw, the dirt trail gives way to solid rock. This is the waterfall area that is named in the route description. Most visitors to Siphon Draw never go past this point. I recommend heading out very early to hike Flatiron, as this area becomes a zoo by midday on your way down. April 1, 2006.
