Pictured here is Tom Sjolseth and the East Buttress wall of Mt. Berge (in Section 3 of West Shoulder Route) with Buck Mountain beyond late in the day on August 18, 2002. On the way to Buck, you basically meet this wall and descend along it until you come to the first major break at a ramp that begins Section 4. The groundcover we walked on was loose and annoying at times but totally manageable.
