This is the Elkhorn Crest looking north from the summit of Mount Ruth. The John Day River drains to the left and the Powder River to the right. Left of the divide is designated wilderness. The south side of The Lakes Lookout, Lees Peak, Angell Peak, Peak 8538 and Peak 8525 are all visible in the distance. August 2005
