The south and west sides of Ibañez seen from close to Plaza Francia. The slopes on the right lead to Paso Rico/Ibañez, which bring you to Plaza Argentina. This alternative is a shortcut to Plaza Argentina, but it has at times lots of objective danger.

Ibañez is a tough objective from this side and even if easier from the east side, dangerous in terms of rock falls.
