Mount Orton panorama [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Mount Orton panorama
The vista from the summit of Mount Orton is incredible considering you're still below 12,000'. Looking to the north we see Mounts Alice, Chiefs Head, Pagoda, Longs, and Meeker (left to right, west to east). The broad North Ridge (corniced) stretches two miles and nearly 2000' up to the summit of Chiefs Head. April 14, 2006.

Whoa! Looks like I forgot to shrink that one. Soon to be fixed...

But thanks anyway ;-)

Thanks! It was ample reward for five miles of brutal approach.
