Leading Thin Slice (5.10a) on the east ("backside") of Parking Lot Rock at City Of Rocks. The route looks like a 5.7 line from base but that's deceptive as it is a sustained 5.10- outing. I did not really enjoy it that much (to give it 4-stars as in the guidebook) - felt more like a gym outing with steep going and juggy holds. Only a handful of fingerlocks esp. I'm guessing with my fat fingers (Apr. 29, 2006) .
