Wildflower garden! [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Wildflower garden!
The lower portion of the Mount Dana trail (within a mile of the Tioga Pass entrance station) can have some of the best wildflowers in Yosemite. As you can see, the use trail marches straight through the middle of this garden of lupine. Although this picture was taken August 8, 2005, the Dana wildflowers are usually at their peak slightly earlier in the summer. (However, it's been another wet winter, so expect the first week of August to be great once again in 2006.)
