A mountaineer approaches the north east slopes of Punta Alta, an area known as 'La Ranconada'. The ascend reaches the saddle (2.780 m) and goes further over a simple couloir to the left (south bearing) till the summit (the most snowed peak to the right). April 30th, 2006.
