Parnassius apollo (or Parnassius phoebus[ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Parnassius apollo (or Parnassius phoebus)
A specimen of butterfly seen along the trail near Colle Tsasetze 2820 m, Emilius group (Aug 27, 2004): the appearance would suggest to identify it with Parnassius apollo, but, taking into account the altitude of the finding location, it could be also a Parnassius phoebus.

Thanks to Gangolf for the suggestions.
