Montardo's south slopes [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Montardo's south slopes
South slopes of Montardo d'Aran. In fact, the peak is 'Small Montardo' (2.781 m), the 'twin brother' of Montardo itself. Right of 'Small Montardo' is the east ridge that connects with the SSE saddle (not seen on the photo) from where the final assault to the summit is done. May 2006.
