Beginning of Impassable Canyon
From here, downstream from Big Creek, the trail no longer follows the Middle Fork, but climbs out of the canyon on either side. To the right (East), the Waterfall Creek Trail climbs over 5,000 feet in five miles to the Bighorn Crags. June 2004.

Thanks for contributing to the Idaho's Best Photo Album. I hope to get most of state represented, and this is a good one from Salmon River Mountains area.
