Hurwal Divide is reddish...
Hurwal Divide is reddish ridge on right. Chief Joseph Mountain is whitish ridge on left. Looking SE. Aug '02.

Nice pic. Where was this taken from? I'm all turned around in my head on this one. Is that Craig Peak in the middle lightish in color?

The pic was taken from the ridge just above Legore Mine...looking south-southeast. I don't know where Craig Peak is, but the one you're talking about is right above and south of Miner's Basin at the head of Dunn Creek. It doesn't have a name on the USGS map.

Oh! This makes much more sense now. Craig Peak would not be able to be seen from here (it's the one on the south side of Ice Lake, would be just over the horizon on the right edge of your photo). So, in this picture from left to right you are looking down Hurricane Creek. I get it now. Cool, thanks! :- )

no, from left to right, you are looking up hurricane creek.
