Tungsten Pass & Lake
Descending Tungsten Pass, we headed west to Tungsten Lake in Upper Garfield Basin. With only one small patch of trees in sight, the word desolation comes to mind... Wilson Peak is the one with the long and flat ridge. Sep 2003. Fuji Velvia.

Now this is what I call the Tundra Zone. Looks more like remote Alaska. Great high elevation shot.
