Sky Ridge route. Pitch one... [ Sizes: Orig | Small | Thumb ]
 Sky Ridge route. Pitch one...
Sky Ridge route. Pitch one (yellow) line is an exposed scramble from Asterisk Pass. Pitch 2 (red line) goes up the arete (bad rock, not easily protectable, easy climbing) and then moves onto the west face (dashed red line, face is on the other side). The place where the solid red line first changes to a dashed red line is the rough location of the first set of bolts on pitch 2. Pitch three (light green line) follows the crack on the east face (5.5) and reaches the horizontal traverse (5.7). The horizontal traverse can also be reached via a bolted 5.6 variation shown in light blue color. Lastly, the drak blue line shows the Sky Dive bolted 5.10? route providing a direct finish to the top. Long range shot here (April 2003).
