A view of the southern side...
A view of the southern side of Panther Peaks from the Alta Trail. Three Rivers local, Mike Daly, made some of the first ascents of Panther Peaks south face (circa 1985). Secor does not include these in the High Sierra: Peaks, Passes, Trail guidebook. These peaks can be viewed as one hikes up the start of the Alta Peak Trail.

David-

Not a bit (much to my surprise). Mike did a ton of routes on Moro Rock as well. Now his business and family are his priorities in life.....climbing is a thing of the past for him.

About 5 miles.....looks like some fun stuff. To the east of this formation (looking right), is Tharp's Rock. The east face has nice potential!
