Hasn't voted | I've gone the last two winters in a row though I will not go this year. It's best in winter IMO. But given the drive and the ferry and all that, yeah, you'd definitely want a good clear day. It's not the best view in the world, but in terms of the mix of ocean islands and Baker and other distant peaks it is a unique vantage point.
