This would be a good place to park and hike up the last 800 feet to get to the summit of Hayden Peak although a vehicle with high clearance could make it up this roughening track to the top. 8-30-03

We came in from the Jordan Valley, went through Silver City and took a very rough road
a little ways out of town. I wish I remembered the exact details but I believe the access is covered on the front page.
