Pretty impressive couloiron the peak's face. I wonder if people climb it often. Nice photos and mountain submission, BTW.

Total Mileage?This hike sounds like a blast! Ive been looking for a couple good hikes for my brother and I to do when we come out at the end of the summer. What is the total mileage if you ascended hourglass and descended down the other side? Do you recommend any other fun hikes like this in the park?

You really can't go wrong with any hikes in the park...check out summits in the mummy range, Mt. Lady Washington, Long's Peak, Chiefs Head...all are great!

One more Q.We hike pretty often and are in pretty good shape, so we move along pretty well. What time should we be leaving the trailhead so we aren't down real late?

Re: One more Q.That's hard to say. Conservatively I'd say 4...but you could probably get away with a later start...just depends on the weather...
