Did you make sky black using severe underexposing, special filters or you edited on your computer? I consider that many of your photos are not looking 100% natural, they are enhanced by various techniques, filters or on the computer. I use to followings combination of the equipment:
a. PENTAX67 ( film size is 70mm) 45/100/200/400mm
b. FUJI-RDP‡V
c. PL filter
d. Spot exposure meter
In the mountain, these are make high contrast photos. In this case, it is caused by severe underexposing and PL filter which you pointed out.
In addition, the color was enhanced by the computer. This is usual technique to be used when publishing.
I enhanced the color of your photograph which I like best, and send you later.
Tomorrow, I go to the mountain. I will return to the town at the end of May and check e-mail.
