Shirley enjoying the easy but fun flakes on pitch 5 of East Buttress of MCR (above the Harding bolt ladder). This is a view up-valley with a piece of Three Brothers (left) and Sentinel (right) visible (May 30, 2006).

Voted 10/10 | I had a feeling you'd head to Yosemite soon after your fill of desert towers. Why I didn't climb this route instead of the DNB of middle Cathedral a few years back I don't know...
Anyway, Immigration is giving my Norwegian wife grief about her status here in the USA, so we are stuck in America for awhile to clear things up. We have arrangied for Grampa and Gramma to watch baby Tenaya for us a couple times this summmer once we head up to the Pac NW (still in SoCal for now.) Wondering if we can 'run into you' at your favorite watering hole in Portland, or maybe in Icicle Creek out of Leavenworth...

DNB eh? That's some really serious stuff (plenty of 10-ish R terrain no?!! would love to hear more). | | Posted Jun 8, 2006 12:44 am |
