Storm Over the Needles

A storm threatens the Needles District of Canyonlands National Park. The Needles is usually a dry place, but gully washers and flash floods are always a possibility. Be mindful of the weather and seek high ground if a weather event is imminent. This storm moved south and dissipated. The Needles gets most of its precipitation in the fall. Spring, 2006.
