HALLET PEAK TYNDALL GORGE & YAM WALL DESCENT ROUTE

RED: Ascent to Hallet Peak GREEN: Desecent through Tyndall Gorge. (1) The desecent area, a steep ramp of loose soil and tundra (2) Sustained Class 2 rock scrambling along the stream that eventually deposits you on the south side of the stream and gorge. Proceed down the green route northward over the rubble pile to Emerald Lake. PURPLE: Yam Wall variation (Class 4) Experience with climbing in exposed areas mandatory.
