Mendenhall Glacier Towers
Menhenhall Glacier from behind Mendenhall Towers, looking West toward Auke Bay on the Inside Passage. The snowy peaks on the island in the middle distance are on Admiralty Island. The southern end of Shelter Island is on the right. Icy Strait is beyond. From there the mouth of Glacier Bay National Monument extends to the right, Northward. Horizon shows The Fairweather Range, culminating in Mt. Fairweather at 15,295 feet.
