Looking across Lake Rotoiti to Mt. Robert, and the start of the Robert Ridge route to the Angelus Hut and Mt. Angelus. A good track switchbacks up the slopes at the forest edge to the summit of Mt. Robert, before beginning the long ridge traverse across desolate scree slopes.
