Sahale from the South [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Sahale from the South
Here you can see the Sahale arm (foreground), the Sahale Glacier, and the peak. Our summit trip turned into an evac when one of our party slipped and was not able to arrest on the steep slopes just below the center of this image. Conditions were bad, and it proved difficult to get ourselves and the injured member back down to cascade pass. Photographed from 6200 feet on the south side of cascade pass June 18, 2006.

""All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night, in the dusty recesses of their minds, awake in the day to find that it was vanity. But the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dreams with open eyes to make it reality.""   --T.E. Lawrence
