Volcanic Gas [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Volcanic Gas
Those are not clouds above the summit of Mount Baker. Rather, it's actually volcanic gas. We could smell sulfur when the wind was blowing in our direction. Photographed from the foot of the Easton Glacier, 6000 ft, June 11, 2006.

""All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night, in the dusty recesses of their minds, awake in the day to find that it was vanity. But the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dreams with open eyes to make it reality.""   --T.E. Lawrence
