Cirque de Trimbolaccio [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Cirque de Trimbolaccio
The Cirque de Trimbolaccio seen from the north, left to right:
Punta Crucetta, Punta Laghia (needle-type twin-summit), Capo Rosso, Punta Minuta.
The picture is from october 2004 and the the snow in the couloir is nearly gone. The dead tree points at Capo Rosso in which the diagonal belt to follow is clearly visible. It leads from the couloir upwards to a shoulder on the right side of Capo Rosso. The broad trapezoid-like summit of Punta Minuta can also be recognized.
