A tough and lone cottonwood...
A tough and lone cottonwood enjoys the shade of canyon walls towering 1000 feet above, mile 2 of the Syncline Loop. Reflected light from the north side makes the rock seem to glow. Canyonlands National Park, Spring, 2003.
