Voted 10/10 | Bob, this has to be one of the most beautiful areas in the Cascade Range, & your photo really brings out the essence of this remote peak. Seriously, I would love to have this photo hanging up in my living room! Thanks again for sharing it with us. (I was studying the topo-maps on this - did you guys come in from the west?) -Take care & have FUN! | | Posted Sep 22, 2007 5:41 pm |

Hasn't voted | Nope - we approached from the PCT south of the peak, camping at Shale Lake.
As for a print, I uploaded it to FotoTime in full resolution JPG with a low compression setting. Here's the link. You can click the "Buy Prints" link below the image, which displays an order form type page. If you want a larger print than the original offerings, click "All Print Sizes", and all the appropriate sizes are lists. Click the Crop icon next to the size you're interested in, and then you can choose whether you want it cropped to fit the page, or printed on a page big enough to include the entire image. Put the quantity into the row for the desired size, then click Add to Cart and Proceed to Checkout...

Hasn't voted | Hey thanks Erik! You've got some amazing shots yourself! I really enjoy your Painted Hills pix on pbase!
This shot was taken from Bays Lake in Jefferson Park, so approximately NW of the peak. The shadows come from the right, so it's afternoon. That was in 1978 on my first trip to Jeff Park, and I didn't get back there again until 25 years later in 2003. Great spot! -Bob | | Posted Dec 22, 2007 1:30 am |
| lcarreau | Great spot is right!!! | |
Voted 10/10 | What kind of life do you ever observe
in these Cascade lakes, Bob? Specically,
any frogs or salamanders??? I remember
seeing tons of frogs in Mount Rainier NP,
especially Mowich Lake and Spray Park.
Please check this out, Bob! | | Posted Jan 10, 2008 6:01 pm |

Hasn't voted | Hey, how'd I miss this one, over a year ago? I actually don't look for life in the lakes. I don't eat them, and I don't look down -- I look up! :-) -Bob | | Posted May 7, 2009 11:22 pm |
