Voted 10/10 | A mountaineer that needs to drink from a sippy cup. Now THAT is cool. | | Posted Jul 6, 2006 4:27 am |

He did it himself. This is the trip report
At age four, he has hiked up to 14 miles a day, up to 4,000 feet elevation gain in a day, and has climbed 5.4 routes. It just takes patience and practice, and if the child loves the outdoors, they can do amazing things.
How does he handle the elevation?
Fine so far, but we are very careful. We take time to acclimatize. This November we're attempting a 5672 meter mountain, but will do a 100 mile/10 day hike first in the area to make sure we're fully acclimatized. | | Posted Apr 20, 2007 1:10 pm |
