Yeah, indeed a great fun pitch - just wish we both did not have these bitch ass backpacks that would not allow me to turn my head to look up.

Approach is not too bad (esp. for a Pickets climb) I think - there's no bushwhacking essentially just lots of vertical ground to gain. The route really is very very scenic with some pitches of fun climbing. Only bad part was the descent but not too bad either. for us it was a day in, day to climb, and a day to hike out...but we're not fast.
