Inspiration Peak - Approach [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Inspiration Peak - Approach
Typical "trail" scene on approach to Terror Basin and Inspiration Peak. This is probably the easiest of Pickets peaks to access (July 1, 2006).

Martin CashRoot pulling!!!

I remember this section. My legs were thinking "dang, these roots and branches are great. Now the arms can help out hauling this fatass and all his gear up this trail, that only a masochist would design". :-)

heh, heh, heh :)

The trail really gets the job done, eh? Not one switchback - an almost vertical take off. Holy cow - can't believe you guys hit that thing as an overnighter! Is one year long enough to forget the pain of approach? Thinking of going back this season?

Thanks for visiting Martin.

Not sure. Have lots of other adventures planned. Will definately return though.

I posted some pics to your Inspiration Page, nice job with it BTW. I thought they should go on the main mountain page not the route page. Feel free to move them around as you see fit though.

Later.
