a channel is cut in the slabs of the Laste and makes this part of the ascent less exposed. The view goes back to Cima Scotter (2800m). Above it on the horizon you can notice Hochgall on the left and Venediger Group with Roetspitze, Simonyspitzen and Grossvenediger to the right (August 2001)
