Unnamed Peak Climb [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Unnamed Peak Climb
This is the 2nd headwall to climb on ascent of the Alpine II, 5.4, East Ridge of Unnamed Peak on the Continental Divide in Banff and Yoho National Parks, Canadian Rockies, July 8, 2006.

My partner is rapping the route in this photo to give you an idea of the line I took when we ascended it. It goes from a corner into a small chimney with a sling station (2006) at the top. Easy climbing.

""You cannot stay on the summit forever; you have to come down again. So why bother in the first place? Just this: What is above knows what is below, but what is below does not know what is above. One climbs, one sees. One descends, one sees no longer, but one has seen. There is an art of conducting oneself in the lower regions by the memory of what one saw higher up. When one can no longer see, one can at least still know.""   --Rene Daumal
