Just below the summit there are a series of ledges that provide easy access to the far end of the spine (beyond the true summit). Once back on the spine, you can walk it back southwest to the summit. The last moves are only Class 3 but look harder from a distance. Without these ledges, it would be necessary to stay on the crest from the southwest. This apparently can be done but it didn't look inviting. July 4, 2006.
