Sky Gradation [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Sky Gradation
On this shot the sky gradation which a polarisation filter introduces on wide angle shots can be clearly seen: To the left you see a very dark blue sky - much darker than anything you would expect at the elevation of 600m at which the photo was taken. To the left the sky gradually turns much lighter, due to the fact that the polarisation changes over the observing angle. For this shot it was 74°.
