Aspen Alley [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Aspen Alley
Extensive aspen stands cover the Sierra Madre range of southern Wyoming. On the Medicine Bow National Forest, this road is nicknamed Aspen Alley, for good reason.

The next time you get down to AZ - beneath the eastern profile of the San Francisco Peaks, (just north of Flagstaff), a dirt road ascends to Lockett Meadows. Please go, the aspens are everywhere!!! I'll have to get out my camera, and snap some photos of these colorful trees. Be watching on SP! Thank you!

Thanks for the tip! We were in that area in May for our honeymoon but maybe I'll have to go back in the fall :)

I love these types of shots - I have a favourite fall aspen picture on my page as well (I'd put in a link, but I don't know how). Cheers

"I am in love with this world. I have nestled lovingly in it. I have climbed its mountains, roamed its forests, sailed its waters, crossed its deserts, felt the sting of its frosts, the oppression of its heats, the drench of its rains, the fury of its winds, and always have beauty and joy waited upon my goings and comings."   --John Burroughs
