 Another explosion picture
We just happened to be visiting Banos when Tungurahua started it's biggest series of explosions since it became active in the 1990's. This is a shot out of the bus window as we were driving in to the valley.

That must have been amazing, I am so envious! Wonder if the other bus passengers paid any attention? Or were they a bit like, "yah, it does that all the time...."? Had a friend down there recently, he managed to make the cover of every paper in Ecuador with some of his photos. Just like you guys, right place at the right time. Nice one!

We knew it was something special because all the cars had pulled over on the side of the road to watch. The bus driver actually stopped so that we could take pictures. Now that´s crazy!
