SE Buttress Devil's Paw [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
SE Buttress Devil's Paw
SE Buttress of Devil's Paw.

Strong climbing routes to midway up South Ridge, where the shoulders get steeper.

View Westward is to West edge of Juneau Icefields on far horizon, above town of Juneau, on Inside Passage.

The SE Buttress is in British Columbia, Canada, and the SW Buttress is in Alaska, United States.

Split Thumb is a tiny dark knob on the left horizon. To the right of it is Observation Peak. A broader shoulder to the left of Split Thumb is Cairn Peak, discussed on SummitPost.org as a trip report.

Den Arkin SmithBeautiful!

Voted 10/10

The pics of this place made me enchanted!
I hope I will be able (financially) one day to travel to Alaska or somewhere to the northern part of Rocky Mts -the ranges close to the Pacific.
Watching these photos I found the most perfect types of summits for me. This is extremely alpine!
Thanks for the photos!
