Mt Baker as seen from the lower portion of the Park Butte Trail. This trail makes Baker so accessible, as this is the view that is seen just after 2.5 miles of hiking - September 17, 2001

The Squak is visible here in this photo taken from below Railroad Grade on the Park Butte trail. The Squak and Sulphur Moraine are on the right-hand skyline. The approach route would access the glacier at the bottom right of photo and continuing up (N) to below the small cleaver (below Sherman Peak). Skirting the cleaver to the left (W) the climbing route then angles up (NNW) to a point on Sherman Crater (N) of a small pinacle (The Pooch).
