In August 2006, the drainage leading up to the Devil's Pitchfork and "V" Slides was littered with fresh blowdown (the leaves hadn't even begun to wilt). As we ascended, we also noticed fresh landslides like this one. The rock above appeared to very unstable... don't linger in these areas.
