This photo was taken above Haynach Lake near Cheif Cheley Mountain. Longs can be seen to the left, followed by Pagoda Mountain to its right. Closer in and moving right of Pagoda is McHenrys, Powell, Taylor, Mount Alice, and Snowdrift Peak.

Voted 10/10 | I thought right of Pagoda we see also Chiefs Head. McHenrys is also visible in front of Chiefs Head, but it should not completely cover it.

Voted 10/10 | I just looked at the large version of Dan's picture, and you can see the start of the East Ridge of Chiefshead ... but you can't see the summit. It's behind McHenrys.
I did notice you can see the summit of Hallett, just to the left of Longs, sticking up from behind unnamed summit 12,277 ft. I call it Tonahutu Point since it doesn't meet the 300 foot rule. It's actually 3 feet higher than Snowdrift. | | Posted Aug 11, 2006 12:22 pm |

Voted 10/10 | If one goes right from McHenrys's summit, one sees what looks like a secondary summit. That, I believe, is in fact Chiefs Head's summit. It's minuscule, barely visible even at full magnification of the picture, but the position is right and, as far as I know, there is no such secondary summit on McHenrys. | | Posted Aug 11, 2006 1:13 pm |
