We had to tunnel through the upper portions of the Teton Glacier to attain the base of the rock route. August 13, 2006.

Yup. This is the exit pitch from the glacier. We had to tunnel behind a large bridge, climb some wet, slimy rock (easy, but mostly unprotected), and then top out on the highest piece of snow below the wall. I'm at the bottom of the first rock pitch taking the picture.

Thanks for showing us an angle and a route that rarely gets posted on SP. It's great to see actual climbing in unusual places even though it's such a typical mountain.
