| Snezna jama (Snow Cave) | [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ] |
The first hall in Snezna jama (Snow Cave). We are standing on a more than 15 meters deep layer of ice - an ex frozen lake. A very worth visit! August 19th, 2006.

Voted 10/10 | Very nice pictures!
Apparently you had a special tour as there was enough time to take these great photos.
Cheers,

Hasn't voted | No, nothing special, Klaus. The usual tour lasts 2h (for some 600m of the cave, not much ascents and descents). The group at 17:00 p.m. was unusually big - some 30 people. There was only one guide, who had a lot to do, because not everywhere the group could gather and he had some German speaking tourists too. So the tour lasted, and lasted,... Taking photos, I had troubles, as it was hard to get enough light for a camera to measure distance. But I took a lot of pictures and some are fair enough. | | Posted Aug 20, 2006 8:29 pm |
