The difficult looking upper... [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
The difficult looking upper...
The difficult looking upper pitches of the Pinnacle Headwall from the top of the Pinnacle. I want to climb that route! In the fall it is supposed to be 2,800 feet of 45 degree blue ice and 3 pitches of ice to 70 degrees at the top.

Hey Martin, that is a neat pic. Great looking rock formation. The highpoint of Skamania county is located on the west ridge area at the 9000 foot level. The route you climbed looks like it may have been pretty close to this vague highpoint

Congrat's on a great climb

Hey, thanks Dean. It was quite an experience. I wrote up a detailed trip report, if you are interested.

Great trip report Martin. You had a heck of an effort and I'm glad your knee turned out ok. 6 Red Bulls eh? I better stock up on em at Costco.
