Grassy Pond is a great spot to sit and gaze up at Katahdin and its neighbors. Borrow the key from the ranger at Daicey Pond and you can unlock the canoe at the pond and paddle around. It also happens to be the only body of water around that is not restricted to only fly-fishing, so if you're visiting Baxter S.P. with a seven year old who has a spinning rod and a tub of worms this is where you'll end up.
