Rising Wolf, from Grizzly Mountain [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Rising Wolf, from Grizzly Mountain
This picture shows the true summit of Rising Wolf, as seen from the Grizzly Mountain summit. The long ridge dominating the middle foreground is Sinopah Mountain, with Painted Tepee Peak at bottom, looking positively diminutive from this height!

Aaron JohnsonSinopah Route

Voted 10/10

The south face route of Sinopah is clearly visible in this great shot. A wide and shallow gully descending from the summit and slightly left is the recommened route up this well guarded mountain. Is that Never Laughs or Painted TeePee in the foreground?

Good catch!--I hadn't realized the photo shows the Sinopah route. It's Painted Tepee (one giveaway is the distinctive black rock right at the summit); Never Laughs is out of the image on the right.
