June 15, 2003. The summit of Massive lies along a ridge, and is a cluster of rocks rather than flat space to stand on. Given that we were the only ones on the summit and wanted a photo of the three of us, we balanced my camera on a backpack on a rock and used the auto timer. We then balanced ourselves on the rocks in the frame, and I was hoping madly that my head wouldn’t get cut off in the picture. L to R: Ellen, Aaron & me.
